When the water conditions are right the Tar River is hard to beat. A customer and I were scheduled to target saltwater species, as I was easing away from the ramp I mentioned, “The conditions are perfect to absolutely wreck the Largemouth Bass”. He replied, “I haven’t seen a 5 pounder in some time.” So we gave it an hour of topwater fishing which become topwater catching!
